Growing up under the harsh Australian sun, it was normal to see tan lines on everyone. Although a very common misconception, this wasn't a bad tan. I was 3 years of age when my mother first noticed something different about me; a white patch on my face. After many appointments and visits from international doctors, it was decided - I had Vitiligo.
Little did I know, this would change my life as I knew it; this is my story.
22 years on and I have the privilege to work with Vitiligo Awareness International. They have provided an amazing platform where I am now able to share my journey with others, spread love and acceptance, all while gaining inspiration from others like myself.
Amazing!
